My Story

"Growing up in a very creative family I have loved everything arts and crafts for as long as I can remember, the personality in something handmade is something that will forever fascinate me."

After studying a BTEC National Diploma in Fashion and Clothing at college, I decided I wanted to pursue this industry further with my love of fabrics, design and hand sewing. I then went on to graduate from the University Of Derby with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Studies.

Throughout my university course my love grew for handmade fashion and accessories, leading me to create a collection using eco-friendly, natural fabrics and hand-knitted accessories, enjoying the designing and making process most of all.

The vintage trend is one of my all time favourite looks, and with my interest in blogs I was lead to vintage weddings, and this is where I found my inspiration for very exciting and new button bouquets. Needless to say, after making my first treasure I fell in love!

Since finishing my degree, I now work part time as a visual merchandiser for Debenhams, and spend the rest of my time enjoying the little things in life, sipping tea, reading wedding blogs, collecting buttons, sourcing unusual tiny treasures, and making beautiful bouquets.

Ever since making button and brooch bouquets, my eyes have opened to all the little things in life, I collect the quirkiest brooches, the oldest buttons, the prettiest frills, the sparkliest swarovski crystals and shiniest pearls; and I'm looking forward to working with you to stretch my creativity to new lengths, to create the most special, bespoke piece for your wedding day that will last you a lifetime.
